Career and Resume |
Videos to get you thinking: |
Under your resume tab, develop your resume and keep it fresh with any new experience that you have gained from your Leadership, Service, or Mentoring experiences this semester. Also, complete the following reflections under a separate tab called Future Self Reflection.
Reflect near the beginning of the semester: Write 100-200 words: What is the story that you tell yourself about who you can become? About how you can impact the world? What are the barriers that get in the way of your future as you tell that story? What are the things that support your future self? Reflect at the end of the semester: Write 300-400 words. After participating in the experiences you have this semester, how has the story of who you can become developed? What possible careers and lives do you see yourself living? What successes have you had that have given you a glimpse of who you can become? Who, specifically, has helped you view yourself in a new way with new possibilities? How has your view of yourself developed because of them. What will it take to get to that reality? Include specific information for any steps you know you need to take. Also, include questions that you have about how to accomplish the necessary steps. Artifact: Include a picture or short video introduction of the person who has helped you to see your own potential more clearly this semester. With the picture or video include a caption describing their influence briefly. (Pleas ask them for permission to use their photo or video on your ePortfolio!) |
